How To Add A Second Floppy Drive

First you need to create a device named /dev/fd1, by using the following command:

mknod /dev/fd1 b 2 1

To make this permanent, add this command to your rc_user script.

After this you should have a /dev/fd1 listed and should be able to mount the floppy drive, create a mount point for it, i.e. mkdir /mnt/fd1 and mount it:

mount -t vfat /dev/fd1 /mnt/fd1
