I don't want to learn all those mySQL commands, isn't there a nice frontend?

Yes, there is, have a look at http://www.mysqlfront.de/, a very good windoze mySQL admin tool. Make sure to read their FAQ on the forum howto GRANT access from one of your windoze clients to control the mySQL server on your FREESCO.

There's also a PHP based solution: http://www.phpmyadmin.net/ which is also available as an add-on FREESCO package if I'm not mistaken.
